test harness

What this is phase 1 of the messenger project

This page verifies that a browser app served from this environment can integrate the self-hosted LiveKit SFU on sgn3 (signaling wss://rtc.aigu.vn, media 157.245.201.169:443/udp). It is a test harness, not the messenger itself.

Signaling path

Browser → wss://rtc.aigu.vn/rtc → nginx on sgn3 → ZeroTier → LiveKit container. The v2 SDK appends /rtc itself; this page connects with the base URL only.

Media path

SRTP goes directly from the browser to 157.245.201.169:443/udp (ICE-TCP fallback :7881/tcp, STUN on :3478/udp). Media never touches nginx or this server.

Auth

HS256 participant tokens (1 h TTL) are minted by the public test token server on sgn3 and proxied from /api/lk/token. The API secret never leaves sgn3.

Next steps

Once the test page is verified (two participants, audio + video both ways), the real messenger — chat, file sharing, central storage, user accounts — is built on top of the same wiring.
